Little Worlds
This assignment was to create “little worlds” with a panorama photo. These were the steps to creating a “little world”:
- Choose a photo. It should be a panorama photo.
- Go to Image-Image Size-change the width and height to 1500.
- Go to Image-Image Rotation- 180 degrees.
- Then go to Filter-Distort-Polar Coordinates.
This will create a little world. The second, third, and fourth photo were from the internet depicting different cities. They were already a panorama photos so therefore the final effect was much better than the first picture, which was my own (and was a completely normal one). I couldn’t make my own picture to a panorama since I did not have the iPhone app which most other people did. However, it still turned out quite good.
This was a really easy technique and can make really interesting effects if you have the right photo. You could also make endless worlds with different photos that would look completely different each time!
